Low Hanging Fruit

Come see Jack in his grape costume today. He looks really cute, except for his, er, low hanging fruit.

Boo to you! Hallo-wine at the winery

Yep, my absolutely fav-or-ite day of the whole year...when little kids are cute and well behaved (hey, I'd be well behaved if I could score me a whole sack full of candy) and I get to dress up in a goofy costume and pretend it's normal for an adult woman to do so.

Beautiful Bikers

We have all sizes, shapes and colors visit Costa Ventosa, but these beautiful bikers stole our heart. Such fun people...thanks for stopping during your travels from Virginia. Come back to your home away from home soon!

Hangover? Wineover?

Where does the term "hangover" come from, anyway? I prefer the term Wineover...

Went to the Autumn Winefest at Pemberton in Salisbury, MD yesterday with my Tasting Room Manager and beloved friend Susan and her family...had a ball...but felt a little, shall we say, slow this morning.

We LOVE Joe's Cool Red from Layton's Chance, and the Vidal Blanc from Bordeleau Winery, and the Meritage from Legends Winery...but the best part of the day was enjoying the cheese and crackers we smuggled in as we sipped our wine and the pears and grapes...with our own bruschetta and bread...PRICELESS!

It's such a cute little festival. We'll be there next year, pouring Costa Ventosa wine. Salute.

Ocean City Power Squadron

We had such a blast last night with the OC Power Squadron...at first I thought they were airline pilots or some such...duh...we're talking boat owners and associated friends and people they just found walking the streets of Ocean Pines...wow were they fun. There were nearly 40 of us, eating, drinking and being merry. Thanks, Jim and group! Come back soon!
