Yea, that title is pretty lame. Oh well. My creativity is taking a nap right now.
But boy oh boy do we have a bunch of events coming up...
Friday, Sept 25: Last Wine Down Party for the year. 6-8 PM. Come and enjoy music and munchies.
Saturday, September 26: Beer & Brats. Our new Pumpkin Ale (The Scarecrow) is being released.
Coming in October is our Worcester County Farm Bureau Fundraiser. It's on October 17th at the winery and is $25 per person. See below for information...and check out our Facebook page for more events coming later this fall & winter.
We have a Guest Book at Costa. It's neat to see where everyone is visiting from...places like Parkesburg, PA...Monroe, CT...Cortland, OH. But the most interesting entry, so to speak, was a bit of art I found from December, 2014. Someone drew a, er....male body part. Really. And not an armpit or nose. The person drew THAT. Nothing says the birth of baby Jesus like a picture of THAT.
Just kidding. No disrespect to Christians. It's just hilarious someone would draw THAT in our Guest Book.
We've been busy as heck this summer. Thanks to everyone who has stopped by, especially some of you who visit us every year. We love seeing you again!
And be sure to sign our Guest Book. Without drawings or doodles, if possible.
Oh, before I tell you how excited I am about my new beeeeeees, I need to let you know this weekend (April 24 & 25) we will have reduced hours. Friday: 12-5....Saturday: 12-3:30. Our dear friend, Denise is getting married to her beau Dana and we want to celebrate....YAY!
OK, back to the beeeeeees. I received 9 pounds of bees (enough for 3 hives) last week. How fun! If you don't know much about bees, let me educate you: 1. They work their butts off to pollinate flowers and numerous food sources of ours 2. They are just adorable, buzzing around the yard and 3. They really don't want to sting you, just leave their home and family alone. Bee lesson over. And, I look cute in a bee suit. Just sayin. :)
So glad spring is sprung. We have sooooo many events upcoming...please check our Facebook page for updates. You don't even need to be a Facebook user/be registered to see our page because our page is public.
Beeeee good, beeeee safe, and beeee visiting the winery soon.
Yepper, you read that right! We re-open on Saturday, February 14. We're open at noon that day...be careful not to get caught up in the crush of winos wanting their stash!
Our winter hours are Friday-Sunday from noon-6 PM. We have 7 wines and 5 farm microbrews and smiles to make your day happier.
